Archives For Trim Healthy Mama

This post is aimed at all who follow the Trim Healthy Mama diet. I love doing their fuel cycles and wanted a creative way to still enjoy eggs benedict. So here ya go! All I really did was substitute the English muffin for roasted asparagus. If I wanted a crossover I would have used an Ezekiel English muffin but this here would make it a Deep S. I also chose to use turkey ham because I’m kinda partial to it.

Here is the recipe that I edit to make it THM friendly.

Eggs Benedict

I have made this for years with THM and without. This is a winner! We typically make it Christmas morning. But you have to get it down to an art. It takes a while to prepare. We tend to have multiple people helping in different stations around the kitchen when we make it for the family.

And of course I enjoy with my favorite blood sugar balancer. Love them proteins!

If you’re enjoying the Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle comment below! I’d love to hear your input and hear your progress! THM is more of a family than a diet! Now go make this dish! It is divine y’all!!

This is for all the Trim Healthy Mama followers. When I first heard about the Shrinker last year and the huge benefits of it I hunted down the coveted oolong tea. I made my first drink and poured it down the drain.

Fuel Cycle Day 3

July 4, 2014

I bid farewell to the yummiest day I’ve ever enjoyed. After three days of Deep S I have lost 5.5 lbs. From what I’m learning, I will gain some of that back during the FP days but I’m more than ok with that because I’m taking these next couple weeks to learn the science of how what we eat affects us. Seriously, look back through the first couple days and look at all the delicious foods I’ve enjoyed that every other diet would be appalled at. Well, not every diet. I did the Maker’s Diet for years and it was wonderful but Trim Healthy Mama just takes it to a whole nother level. I have been learning so much. And ironically the kids have chosen Anatomy as their science curriculum.

Deep S Day 3

trimaccino -

I am just in love with the trimaccino. Y’all have got to try it. I would choose this over heavy cream. Seriously.

eggs benedict -

I still can’t believe I was allowed to eat this. Definitely one of my favorite meals but oh-so-fatty. With this dish I nixed the english muffin and used asparagus instead. Used turkey bacon as a side instead of canadian ham.

I’m highly addicted to the Good Girl Moonshine.

salmon salad -

I was still full from the delicious eggs benedict but I knew I had to eat three hours later. Quickly made up a smoked salmon salad with dill and dijon mustard sauce.

lamb burger -

My husband completely spoiled me with a lamb burger. He dressed his up with a bun and taziki sauce and feta. But I absolutely loved mine with just a lettuce leaf! Aaaaaannnnnd, I may have had more than one.

chocolate chip fsf -

This here was a quick fix for my sweet tooth while I cleaned up the kitchen. A fat stripping frappe with two peanut butter cup skinny minis blended in.

This was, hands down, the yummiest day. Just divine. And, because I’m blogging about this later I can tell you that I woke up the next morning and was at my lowest weight I’ve seen since I was first married! I got Deep S days down. Totally understand them now. I could read all I want but I didn’t really learn until I began implementing it in my daily life.

Fuel Cycle Day 2

July 2, 2014

Second day of the Trim Healthy Mama Fuel Cycle and it’s going beautifully. But I admit that I’m very nervous about the upcoming FP and E days at the end of the week. I probably spent far too much time looking in FP days so that I wouldn’t mess it up considering I’m doing this during a holiday. FP on Independence Day, I foresee 0% greek yogurt and patriotic berries.

Today I focused on eating lots of greens and salmon. My splurge was the Skinny Chocolate which is allowed in liberal amounts on deep s days. I didn’t take a photo for I make them in a mini cupcake tin and I had three of them for dessert.

Fuel Cycle Day 1

July 1, 2014

For those on the Trim Healthy Mama I wanted to share my Fuel Cycle days with you. I’ve been doing THM since September 2013 and decided to overcome my fear of the Fuel Cycle. Plus, I had stalled in my weight loss. I have lost around 18 lbs since I began. The app TwoGrand has helped a lot! Lots of encouragement and guidance over there. So, for those who follow THM you’ll know know what I’m talking about. For those of you who don’t, shame on you! Go pick order your book now!

Now, I’m short on time but I still want to post this so I will open up the comments for anybody with questions.

The first day is a Deep S day. Below are my meals. At the end I will describe my experience of the day.
