Last week I had to miss out on my trip to the abortion mill. My husband needed me home that day as he prepared for his trip to Guatemala. I was crushed that I couldn’t be there. And even more so when the updates started coming in…
“41 cars and at least 41 babies here to be murdered today!”
“There are 44 babies at least here today to be killed. There are so many hear that the waiting room cannot hold all the support people and they have overflowed onto the porch. This is an incredibly busy day. “
“very, very busy today and the spiritual warfare was extreme. The final count was 45 cars carrying 45 women.”
All I could think about was how there will be two full sized kindergarten classes in Charlotte that will never meet earth-side.
A fellow counselor then posted a video she took of a mom dancing in the parking lot of the abortion mill with her very young daughter. Dancing to, wait for it, satantic music. Oh the enemy attacked again. Not only was I not there but another family was all plagued with headaches that day. So the number of counselors was low and the number of those dancing and laughing over death was high. Sweet babies who were resting safely within their mothers wombs were severed limb by limb. At least one of them being 18 weeks along. The abortionists pockets were lined thicker. And the counselors hearts have been almost too heavy to bear this week.
Church, where are you? Why are there only a handful of us out there begging and pleading for lives to be saved? This is our holocaust Church. This is not a selective ministry. Saving lives is every Christians calling. Is it scary? The first time it is, yes. But a whole lot more life giving than passing out water at a parade. Or donating clothes. Or making up a Thanksgiving meal for somebody. Listen, I’ve done all those things. There’s nothing wrong with serving others in those ways. But that’s awfully comfortable, don’t you think?
Listen up. Your mother is pregnant. You’re nestled within her womb. Yahweh is knitting you together. You’re growing leaps and bounds each day. Your mother can now feel you dancing within her. You’re blinking your eyes, yawning, sucking your thumb. When a foreign object comes near you. Instinctively you try to swim away, but you’re too small. You’re at the mercy of the scissors. First your left leg is cut off. You’re screaming but your mama can’t hear you. Then your right leg is removed. Next are your arms, each one at a time. The rest of your body is crushed from weight and you are sucked out of the one place you were safe.
So now I ask you: would you have wanted somebody out their trying to save you? Are you pro-life only in your Facebook status shares? I am not one to check out decals on the cars that roll into the mill but every counselor has told me about the countless cars that come in bearing the orange bumper sticker of the most popular church in Charlotte. Imagine if those church goers actually read the Bible and obeyed God. Imagine if they elevated God’s will over there own. Imagine if they went out to the mills to plead for life. Or do they hate these abortion determined women so much that they don’t want to share God’s gift of salvation with them?
He went on his way through towns and villages, teaching and journeying toward Jerusalem. 23 And someone said to him, “Lord, will those who are saved be few?” And he said to them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 When once the master of the house has risen and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying,‘Lord, open to us,’ then he will answer you, ‘I do not know where you come from.’ 26 Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ 27 But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!’28 In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but you yourselves cast out. 29 And people will come from east and west, and from north and south, and recline at table in the kingdom of God.30 And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”
Luke 13:22-30
Last week my dear friend wrote this post.
Ephesians 4:15, 16 “But *speaking the truth in love*, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the *whole body fitly joined together* and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the *effectual working* in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
This is not only the basis of Christian unity, but also a beautiful picture of how those with DIFFERENT spiritual gifts can EFFECTUALLY work together, FITLY JOINED together for a UNIFIED PURPOSE! Church, we have to realize that as long as what we are speaking is truth, and that the motivation is love, then different people with varied spiritual gifts will evidence that truth through their speech in different ways. And that’s okay. That’s what a Body is…different parts, working for the same goal in LOVE and UNITY!

My husband will be helping out the ministry, Cities 4 Life, with their fundraising. There are others who serve by driving the ultrasound RV to the mills. Then, of course, there are the RN’s who perform the free ultrasounds. There are those who create informational packets that we can pass out to teach the men and women there. There is a sweet woman who gives a baby shower to moms who choose life. Oh the list goes on. So many opportunities to help save lives that are on their way to the slaughter.
Step out of your comfort zone. There are little ones that need you. Show Christ in action and not just in your Facebook posts.
Blessings!
